India Fashion Show Week is celebrated every year and this has shown that Indian fashion has passed through various phases and have come to this age. The Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) Autumn/Winter 2015 has culminated with a grand finale that had top Indian designers showcasing their masterpieces.
Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna brought their somber collections to grace the occasion. This was a monochromatic collection of oozed finesse and clarity of Indian Fashion. The duo used fabric like silk, embossed neoprene and created prints that looked real fur to present a beautiful line.
The occasion received a thumping applause with Amazon India, promising the e-commerce platform to the Indian designers, bolstered the industry. India’s other fashion stalwarts, Rajesh Pratap Singh presented a ‘clinical’ setup for his clinically constructed clothes, complete with hospital beds and saline drips on the ramp.

Abraham & Thakore, Namarata Joshipura and Sanchita Ajjampur showcased not just clothes but accessories like bags and clutches and footwear were also presented, Pencil skirts with ruffled tops, fringed ponchos, turtleneck sweaters and tuxedo pants stole the show.
The occasion was a grand success with invitee and presenters from Indian designers toasted their glasses amidst applause and said cheers to Indian Fashion.
